Billie Eilish's Ex-Stalker Dies After Being Hit by a Train in New York

The man who was accused of stalking singer Billie Eilish died after being struck by a train on Long Island, in an incident authorities are considering accidental.
Prenell Rousseau, 30, died in the early morning hours of March 25 after being hit by a Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) train in the Westbury area of New York. According to reports, the man was “running on or near the tracks” around 5:38 a.m.
Preliminary investigations indicate no foul play, and everything points to an accident. Following the impact, approximately 100 passengers had to be transferred to another train to continue their journey.
A disturbing history with the singer
Rousseau had been arrested in 2020 after repeatedly showing up at the artist's Los Angeles home. In just two days, he visited at least seven times, ignoring warnings from the family.
According to court documents, his behavior was erratic:
He would sit on the porch reading and talking to himself.
He refused to leave despite requests.
He insisted he had to be there.
This led Billie Eilish, who was only 18 at the time, to request a three-year restraining order out of fear for her safety.
It wasn't the only case of harassment
The incident with Rousseau was not an isolated incident. The singer has had to deal with other stalkers in recent years, including one in 2023 who even made threats against her family.
